holidays, saint days, Constitution,
independence and festival or
carnival days during which nobody
works - except for employees of
specific tourism enterprises, such
as hotel workers and resort staff.

Opening hours for most
tourist attractions are daily 9am to
4 or 5pm, although some businesses
close early on a Saturday - specific
opening hours vary from place to
place and island to island.
Caribbean banks are usually
open from 8 or 9am to 2 or 3pm
Monday to Thursday, with extended
hours (often until 5pm) on Fridays.
Weekend banking is practically non-existent.
