Most visitors arrive by air . Travellers from the US, Canada and Europe can fly with numerous airlines that service St Kitts and Nevis, including American Airlines, British Airways, Air Canada, Carib Aviation, LIAT, Nevis Express (tel 869/469-9755) and Winair (tel 869/465-2186). Flights to both islands connect in Antigua, St Croix, St Martin and San Juan, the most common stopover from the US and Canada. There are no flights from Australasia.

When leaving St Kitts and Nevis, you'll need to pay a departure tax of US$16.50.
