The St Lucia Tourist Board maintains several offices abroad, and it's worth contacting them to pick up general information and free maps before you leave. For the best on-island information , contact the main office of the St Lucia Tourist Board in the Sureline Building, just after the roundabout on your way north from Castries (PO Box 221, Castries, St Lucia, WI; tel 758/452-4094 or 5968, fax 453-1121, ). There are also tourist board kiosks at George F.L. Charles Airport, the La Place Carenage and Pointe Seraphine shopping complexes in Castries, at Hewanorra airport in Vieux Fort, and at the waterfront in Soufriθre.
